I want to apologize for the lateness of the reward but many things happened that kept me away from a computer and then, a revieweing mode. But now, I am back and I'm getting to it! This one-shot was one of the saddest I have read about Remus. I love how you played with the rythm of the story, going back and forth to the past and the present. The chosen moments tied the story together and explained Remus' hurt and sadness. You characterization of him was spot on. The emotional war he was going through felt real and very much in-character.

Great work, I enjoyed this a lot!

I've actually thought a lot about going back and editing this a little. I think it was the first one shot I wrote on HPFF and everytime I go over it, I can see so many areas where I could improve it. But then, I leave it alone because I decide it will be good to see how I've grown as a writer over time.

I really appreciate your compliments! It was my first (and only) attempt at writing Remus, he's one of my favourite characters but I'm always so nervous to write him because I don't want to get it wrong. So your kind words mean a lot :)
