This was a really sad one shot, When I first read this I thought that it was because Harry had left her, but now I realise that he died.
It's flows so well and you have written it so well, you got Ginny's emotion over so well and I found it really heartbreaking, it was like I could feel what Ginny was feeling. I wonder what happened? and why it had to happen? and like I was there with her. Excellent one shot!

You asked what happened to Harry well, in that story I wanted Harry to have died in a work related accident. I thought it would be sort of ironic if the great Harry Potter died doing what he did best, fighting the bad guy. Harry died by a simple killing curse that someone didn't even mean to cast. Who knows I may write that story soon.

*lets eyes well up* Poor Ginny! I feel absolutely and completely terrible for her as I read this story. I like the idea that she has written to him every day for a year and drawn pictures, something to remember him by and to help her in the healing process.
It seems like she's dwelling but, who wouldn't? To me Ginny was really well characterized for the situation that she has found herself in. I rather like the fact that she wants to keep him up to date on all the happenings around his children and the family in general. It's rather nice to get to see how the Next Generation characters are shaping up out of the eyes of one of the original ones, a mother's point of view.
My favourite lines had to be Ginny asking about why they gave James the map and cloak and saying how he reminded her of Harry and the idea of Lily also writing to Harry.
An incredibly well written and moving story that had me sniffing as I read it. Great job.
(Hufflepuff)Author's Response: I loved writing this story so much. I thought that as a mother you would want to keep your husband up todate on what your children are doing. I know that if I lost a husband I would be devistated and wouldn't be able to even move for at least a week and I think the only thing that would keep Ginny going is her kids.
I am glad that this story got at your heart strings it really was an odd peice for me to write because its sappy.
Thanks for you review!

Ginny: This story was so very moving. Ginny seems so trapped in her memories of Harry yet you gave her the spark of hope for a future with their children and that Harry helped her to become the woman that she is. The devastation of his loss would seem to be insurmountable, yet, you bring her family and Hermione to help rescue her heart and her sanity. You could have d welled on her abject sadness and despair but you didn't and showed Ginny as courageous for herself and her children. Excellent job. Well done. PWAuthor's Response: Well thank you! I love getting reviews that make me smile and glow with joy! I enjoy writing her and for some reason the dark mourning side of things are the simplest to write. I always love the depth one can find in the character of Ginny. She truly is a remarkable girl and for some reason I can not wait to venture into her mind again! Thanks again for the amazing review. I loved this story, I love how there are so many questions that could be asked but the quality of writing makes you think-why spoil it? Why ask questions when the writing has the bit you need in front of your face? It made me want to laugh and cry all at once it was so good. Poor Ginny, I hope she finds someone else, well saying that I'm not quite sure.
LpF123 xxAuthor's Response: Ginny, wow she is my favourite person ever. I love her and love her love for Harry. She makes me happy and sad. I wish that I could get into someone else's head a little better but I can't. So for now I will continue to write of her great love! Thanks for the review! Report Review
Its so sad. I always thought Harry and Ginny had something beyond love. Something deeper and you touched on that wonderfully.Author's Response: I always thought this as well and hoped I touched it a bit. I love their relationship and how it has really been there through all seven books. It is rather sad but I tried to lighten it up a bit with adding happy things about the kids and other family friends. Thank you for the review! Report Review
