I have never really given an in depth thought to what Petunia must have went through when Lily left to become a wizard so this was something new to ponder. Great one-shot!

This was amazing. It made me actually feel for Petunia and see from her point of view. It also makes me wonder why she did the same thing to Harry. Harry was the Petunia in his situation. Dudley always getting everything he wanted and more. It makes it sound like she's a Hypocrite, but then things probably changed between then and Harry growing up.

Author's Response: awww thank you so much! You nailed it right on! I was trying to get you to feel for her. She's a character in the books/movies that I feel doesn't get much love. I love minor characters and writing her POV was a pleasure to do.
I did debate on adding a fast forward moment with her and Harry but I didn't as I thought where I ended it was good..
I think things did change for her as she came across Harry (a reminder of Lily) and I think that she did grow more bitter and hypocritical. I think she wanted her son to feel loved and important and make Harry feel less loved because it was her way of getting back at Lily for stealing the limelight. Thanks for reading! :D

Review #3, by Amy Lily Potter Broken

love it! but Petunia doesn't fit this character though...

Author's Response: I'm glad you loved it! I tried to portray Petunia in a different way... I see her as more hurt and that she can't understand everything with Lily plus she feels a tad jealous and left out. She's a whole bottle of different emotions... I am glad you gave an honest opinion. I can see in parts where Petunia we see in the movies/books may not fit this portrayal but this is fanfiction and I tried my own take on her. Thanks for reviewing and reading! I appreciate your feedback! :)
