Review #1, by Phoenix_Flames Prologue

20th June 2011:
Ah, Rin! This was lovely. As always I feel like you specialize in descriptions.

You always have a way of captivating me with them. This was lovely. You are always pure genius with the backgrounds of your stories, and I can't wait to find out more.

The names of your OCs seem perfect to me and very JKR like names. I can never give you much CC because you are purely wonderful without it. Well done, Rin! :)

Author's Response: Aw, Lovely, thank you so much! Feedback from you is always very prized. :)

I really, really hate naming OCs, so I'm very pleased that you thought they turned out OK! I don't know why I struggle with the naming. I think it has something to do with a fear of being cliche, and all that.

Thanks again for the feedback, dear! It is very much appreciated.

Review #2, by Mottsnave Prologue

20th June 2011:
This is a wonderfully atmospheric opening. You really have a gift for description; I love that you set a scene with several senses: sight hearing, touch. rather than just by appearances alone. You really let suspense build up by lingering on the details of the scene.

I also love how you build up a picture of these characters slowly, without really giving us any exposition, but still showing a lot of their history and relationship through their actions. This is a perfect example of showing, not telling, and it's very well done.

I do think it's a little unfair that you only have one chapter up so far! You can't leave us hanging in suspense like this!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! I really appreciate my comments.

I know there's more description here than dialogue, so I really admire you for sticking through it. It's only a prologue, after all, but I'm relieved that you didn't have any trouble getting through it!

Thanks again for your review! It definitely made my morning.

Review #3, by Happy Birthday Prologue

17th March 2011:
Rin, this piece was simply beautiful. The imaginary and emotions were thought provoking. It really pulled me into where you were leading the beginning of this storyline to. Your description always moves the plot along so well that dialogue isn't a necessity, but nonetheless adds more to the writing when slipped in, each word weighted on its own. Lovely job!

Author's Response: Ah, what a lovely birthday surprise!

As always, I appreciate your feedback! I tend to go crazy on description, so I'm really pleased that I didn't fly overboard with it. And dialogue has always been a weakness, so I'm very glad that it works well here.

Again, thanks for your review! You are a wonderful mystery person who I love dearly, whoever you are. ;)

Review #4, by Rose_Weasley123 Prologue

31st December 2010:
Not fair.

SO NOT fair.

How do you write like this? Seriously, I don't understand why this hasn't had the attention it deserves. It might even be better than Inception :P.

The tension you create here is superb! I really felt James's fear and trepidation as he entered the house, and I could exactly imagine how the house felt. It was... just incredible.

And then there is James - I can already tell some parts of his character from the details you give, which is amazing, considering the length of the chapter. And I even felt some sort of attatchment to Fiona, which was really amazing.

The writing was gorgeous! I especially loved this line 'It was as if someone had paused the life inside the abode, setting a clock that didn't tick on top of the roof.' Your writing never fails to astound me.

I'm afraid this is just a load of rambling. Because this is what your writing does to me.

Favouriting :D.

That's really the only coherent thought I can come up with after reading your lovely review. It's too lovely because I don't really deserve everything that you've said up there, but I am absolutely, positively, completely flattered by everything that you've said. I... wow.

Thank you! Thank you so much! And I'm going to stop here, because my rambling is just about as useless as... something that is useless. Do you see this? This is what you do to my speech when you leave me such a kind review.

Review #5, by marinahill Prologue

7th September 2010:
oh RIN! You know how much I adore your one-shots. Your skill is unrivalled, I feel. And you've taken that skill and turned it into this beautiful prologue and I am SO excited that this is to become longer. How do you take an OC and make them so real!? Poor Fiona, poor Casper. I feel for every person you write, they're so realistic and believable and whole as characters already. You could write anything you set your mind to, and I can just tell this is going to be superb. And the MYSTERY! Argh, suspense! Update soon! ♥

Author's Response: Oh JEEZ, Marina, I have no idea how to respond to this.

Um... wow. And thank you. And then wow again.

This was different, because it WASN'T a one-shot. I was so scared to post this up. Really. Because I felt like I'd been falling back on one-shots for a long time. Time to start something different. I mean... wow. Thank you!

You're as lovely as your writing. :D

Review #6, by SONofBEEDLE Prologue

5th September 2010:
Nice for a pre-start. However, you could have done it a lil' bit longer.

Looking forward to the story ;)

Author's Response: Thank you! I didn't want to stretch it too long because it is, after all, only a prequel.

Thanks again! I appreciate the review.

Review #7, by butterbeergal Prologue

5th September 2010:
Rin... what an intriguing and haunting start! My eyes were glued to the screen until the end.

The descriptions were utterly divine. They suited the mood so very well, and my heart went out to him when he found Fiona and grieved for her.

Who is he? Who are they? Are they Aurors? Or something else? And what in the world just happened??? Obviously, I shall have to return to have these questions answered! :P

Beautiful start, my dear. I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: GILL! Thank you so much!

Very mysterious, no? :D The next chapter is all planned, and just has to be written (tomorrow, maybe the next), so you won't be waiting long, I promise.

Thank you so much for your kind words and your help with the summary! This is the first feedback I've gotten, and so I can't even tell you how much you've eased my mind. Again, thank you! I appreciate all of your wonderful feedback.
