I see nothing wrong with this--it's better than anything I could write or say. It's perfect. Being true to what's at hand and trying to protect the ones you love--what more can you ask for. Hermione is confused and over thinking things like she always does; Edmund has faced the white-witch and survived more than she realize he has. This is starting out to be pretty good in my body.
