This was epic, Kali! Hahaha! Your Delacour-Weasleys are adorable. I loved their dynamics. I think Dominique is my favorite, though. She's really funny and headstrong. Victoire is a bit more mild-mannered and patient, but I guess that comes with the territory of being the eldest. That ending was hilarious! :)

Molly is so cute! When she let out the string of curses, I cracked up. xD She's lovely in all her awkwardness and was such a joy to read. And yay for Hugo asking Samaire out!

I thought this chapter flowed even better than the previous one, and there were lots of funnier/lighter moments in here. Your characterizations were, again, very good, very distinct. To address your concern, yes, this story is definitely very engaging thus far, and I think it will only get even more interesting as you progress.

Good job, lovely. ♥

Hi, Kali! :)

First of all, I applaud you for handling several characters at once quite well. I suppose the formatting of this chapter also helped - having separate sections for each one - because they are all very clear in my mind right now since you've established them well.

I also liked their characterizations so far. I haven't read all of Austen's works yet (I'm getting there!), so I'd be really useless when it comes to spotting who's who. That being said, I do believe that you've created three very interesting characters so far that, while flawed, are still strong in their own ways.

I've noticed that the language used here seems a bit formal. I don't know if that is your intention, and I'm not saying that it's a bad thing because this was quite a pleasure to read, I just thought I'd point it out. However, if it definitely is intentional, then by all means, ignore this silly section of my review. xD

Anyway, moving on, I really have no complaints plot-wise as this is only the first chapter. I'm also very interested to find out what's in store for the girls and how you'll tie them up. Roxanne's story intrigues me the most so far.

Overall, I'd say this was a very solid opening chapter. Great job, Kali! :)

Oh, Kali, I love this. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant!

Love Victoire, she's fantastic. I love that in the end, she's being all grown up about getting Louis out of bed. Somehow, I don't see that working all that well though. Louis seems to be as stubborn as a mule.

Dominique is amazing. I can't wait to learn more about her. The poor dear has such a horrible brother to deal with. Though, mine's not much better.

I love the interactions between Molly and her American friend (I'll never remember her name). It was so interesting, so real. Though, I think the best part about Molly's section was her running into the men and her swearing. Had me laughing quite a bit.

Loved it!

Review #4, by platform 9 3_4 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14

Ok i'm loving this story. I seriously think my prayers have been answered...Jane Austen and Harry Potter!
So far i think that roxanne is Anne, Lily is Fanny, and Rose is Emma, but from what i can gather Teddy is Mr. Knightly? I find that an interesting combo because she's usually paired with scorpius and Teddy is usually paired with Victoire, but I'm actually enjoying the change :) and hey i might be wrong! maybe teddy isnt mr. knightly!
So anyway enough of my ranting, I LOVE this please update soon!

Review #5, by CornishPixie SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14

Harry Potter mixed with Jane Austen? Have my dreams come true? I think they might have! Your writing style is flawless, I even looked for something a bit off so that I could give you some helpful tips or whatever, but there was nothing to be found. And though we've gone through three of the six main heroines and have been introduced to a few different names along with each of them, I still think I have everything straight! You are talented!

This is an example of why having next generation characters around is so good--you can have free reign with them. Once they are all grown up like this they are like however you want them to be, basically. And by what I've read I can tell that you've thought this out and are going to stick with it. I can't wait to read on, and I wish I had found it in a while just so that there would be more than one chapter available for me to read. Haha!

I will now try to pick out which heroines you're fashioning these ladies after. Rose is the most obvious, I think, as Emma. Ohhh, but now I might even see that Roxanne may or may not be Anne, from Persuasion...and after thinking about it for a bit I think that Lily could be Fanny, from Mansfield Park. Those are my guesses, anyways. How did I do?

This is being favourited. I can't wait to see what else there is in store! Thanks!
