This is an interesting idea. However I feel like the parts with Draco kinda go on and on. I think Hermione and Draco need to see each other soon or else the story could get off track. I like Hermione's POV, how she is dating a muggle and doesn't do much magic. Also, did her and Ron ever get together in this story? I'd like to see where you go with this.

Author's Response: Ah, I am having issues with Draco's parts, but I'm not very good at writing "loner" type scenes where there is little to no interaction with solid characters. I promise to make it better once Hermione and Draco get together. Also, Ron will be in the next chapter, so hopefully that will answer your questions on him. Thanks for the review! Helena is seriously beginning to grate on my nerves. She's just a power hungry vampire, thinking she knows best, when she actually doesn't. How can she proclaim herself as such a great vampire, when all her knowledge basically comes from Draco..? It makes me sad to see him go back to her all the time, that he listens to her. And Radley, ugh..
I'm glad to see Hermione again. I hope she won't get in too many problems for that vampire. Ron's making me a bit sad as well.
Finally! It wasn't exactly Draco's choice to leave, but he did. Now he can master up a plan and go back, and kill them all. Very curious to how this is going to progress.

Author's Response: Some interesting things are going to spring from Helena in later chapters though, trust me you will be grateful I kept her around in a bit ;) And Radley also still has a huge role to play in the story, though keep hating him, thats fine by me haha
Draco did finally leave! I feel like I rushed him from the clan, but as the author I just was getting annoyed with the scenery and had to get him out of there. But, he may go back, or may not? You'll just have to stick around and find out!

Yes please, let Draco take over! I agree muchly. Helena is making very poor choices that will harm all of them. It already is, but she's too blinded by the power she has.
I don't like Radley still. There must be more to him than that. If he is a mere Army Ranger, then Draco can definitely take him.

Author's Response: Draco as the head of a huge vampire clan, ooh boy that surely would be interesting! Though I may not let him win so easily, you'll just have to stick with me to find out ;) And yes, there is still yet to come from Radley, but his story is a slow one to unravel and will hopefully please!

I love this story! Finally vampires are the disgusting creatures I had nightmares about as a child!

The writing is descriptive, the plot is creative, the characters are unique. Hermione and Draco are seen now in a new light and Helena is now my favorite bitch(in a good way)!

I do have to say that I feel the slightest hints towards Twilight. It's definitely not like Twilight, but I see the distant similarities. Just the small details. It isn't a bad thing, I just think I'm more atoned to them because I'm writing two vampire stories myself, and I tend to pick others apart for inspiration and brainstorming.
I think Draco is the slightest bit threatened, but I also think he doesn't need to be for now. With the lack of details on Radley's part, there's no reason for me to question him, but I do have a feeling that he's being a bit too cocky. It sounds like it's definitely his plan to overthrow Draco, but for what reason(s)? Personal reasons in a past life, maybe, but that clashes with how he became a vampire. How, and why Helena turned him, because I'd think she wouldn't know such a thing as of yet and just made a more random choice. Radley does seem to be a bit more than just a regular vampire, but I'm sure we'll find out later on.
I am very much intrigued what this is about wizards and witches blood. Radley's straightforwardness doesn't really do much for me. I'm getting more iffy about him by the minute. Perhaps I'm taking over Draco's feelings about it all. I actually don't think Helena is wanting to keep Draco around, right now. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but she's too eager about Radley.

Author's Response: It's a bit similar in the fact that there's a red haired psycho that's building a clan (army in Twilight I suppose) haha but that's an easy connection to make, personally I just like evil minded red haired women :P And Radley is sure to thicken the plot, trust me when I say keep your eyes out for subtleness on his part. I made him the annoying cocky prat for a reason, it's much easier to love a blood thirsty, brutally vicious Draco when there is another to foil him against.

This is a very lovely start. Not long ago I was talking to one of my best friends about the fact that there are much too few vampires in the Harry Potter verse. There are so many possibilities, so much to explore and so much freedom.
Draco makes a lovely vampire, utterly ruthless. Although it seems like he isn't using his full potential, and I can't wait until we get to see him use all he's got.
I'm very curious to how this fiction is going to progress. Please, post an update soon!
