I don't normally like song fics so I'm not really sure why I read this. But I'm glad I did!
I love your perspective of James. How he knows she won't accept and intentionally asks her out goofily. Too many people wrote him as serious in the respect, which just makes him look like an even bigger idiot. But yours is wonderful. He is very realistic.

Author's Response: Oh well I'm honoured then! I'm really glad you liked it :) I did try to not make James completely typical because it's for that reason that I never read James/Lily fics. Thanks so much for reviewing

OMIGOD!!! I love love love love LOVE this!! Its so adorable, and I think you did a really good job of capturing James' POV. Its so cute, I've never heard of the song, but the words fit the situation well. 10/10 :)
