Oh my gosh, that was the most amazing Hannah/Neville I've ever read! You have forever changed the way I think about their relationship. I like both characters, but before JKR came out with the pairing, I was a Neville/Luna shipper, but I tend to follow cannon and switched once I knew.

Now, onto the plot- I really like how Hannah acted without Neville, it would be really tough to only see your husband twice a year, in the summer and for a break in the winter. I honestly don't think I could do it myself. And not being with him definitely changed Hannah, I loved the way she missed her hair, it seemed more like an analogy. Like, her life before was bright happy and lustering, and now it was dull and unkempt. I really liked that section. It just seemed like the kind of thing Hannah would think. ^_^

I've read a lot of stories where Hannah rebels out, and I have to say that I think this one is the most plausable. I love her little stories with the small town residents, and how they all gobble them up. She become this classy women again until she has to leave. Then theres Edgar, who I hoped would take her back, but of course, was to upset to. And now he doesn't even know what he's sentenced his old lover to. As for Neville, I can't decide if he'd really do this or not. We know he get a lot tougher and such, but he still really is a compasionate person. However, you definetly described why he was like this, so it was totally plausable.

You are making me blush so much right now by saying this was the most amazing ^___^ And I am so unbelievably glad you got that analogy :P I was trying to go for something new with that there. And I'm even more glad that its all plausible! I like sticking to canon as well and getting everything right always makes me happy ^_^ I always figured that being around lots of kids as an adult would give Neville some thick skin :P

that was great! you expressed hannah's emotions so powerfully and the whole story flowed really well. It was very realistic and very well written :)
