I can feel Lily's stress, and never really thought about how famous she would be until I read this.

Excellent job; you really described her vividly in a small story. None of it was rushed, though.

10/10!

Review #2, by Secret Santa Mystery Girl

22nd December 2010:
Hi, I'm back again!

What I really loved about this piece was the depth you've provided for Lily! Not only was it brilliantly written and could hold it's own as a One-Shot, it would also make a brilliant introduction to a full length fic too! It's interesting how her life has played out as a result of Harry's presence in the wizarding world, and in some ways his fame is almost a curse on his daughter in this case. I particularly liked how she was willing to pretend to be a date for Frances, there was that strong sense of loyalty and friendship which almost seemed to be carried on from Harry to his daughter.

It was interesting also to see how she broke free of the paparazzi and run off to a club to be alone. It's intriguing that she could find freedom in some form in the Muggle world, to the extent where she believes she disappears among the hundreds of people in the club. What I liked the most was the way she reacted to the judgment of those around her, escaping from it rather than facing it. It made me wonder about how living in the shadow of Harry's fame would have affected his children and this is just one of the possibilities of how that may have played out.

Your writing really added another dimension to this story, it answered all my questions but at the same time left me wondering about many of the possibilities that still could be. I really love one-shots that do this and I found this one to be really well written in this sense, alongside the handling of her trip to the club, it was done in a way that reflected her feelings and how she has been affected by her fame and caused me to feel sympathy for her and to top it off it was done very well!

Wow. I actually think you should continue this. :) It'd be interesting to see where all this partying leads, you know.

Pretty cool little story. :)

Author's Response: krazyboutharryginny,

I have toyed with the idea of turning this into a short story but I'm currently working on another Lily II fic that is in the late stages of planning & the early stages of writing. Thank you so much for your review :)

I loved this! I know exactly how it feels to just want to collapse, to ignore everyone and do whatever I want to. Unfortunately, I haven't yet gotten the courage to do so.

Author's Response: City Lights,

Thats awesome that you can relate to the story. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for leaving a review!

this was really good! you were able to pack a lot of emotion into just a few paragraphs, bravo indeed. one small thing though--I think you meant "vain" in the beginning, not "vein".

Author's Response: albus22,

Thank you so much! This is such a sweet review! Cyber hugs!

-Serious_Black

P.S. I've edited the vain... thanks for that one :)
