I like her family a lot, they seem really real and I would feel just the same, being judged by your peers.

I love her friendship with Regulus, it doesn't seem force and is realistic. I think right now she kind of needs someone like him. Though befriending Slytherins isn't the smartest idea on her part. I just got the joke SIrius and James made in the train btw and that was SO MEAN. I would of kicked them, then punched them.

Oh poor Lucas! He seems like a sweet kid caught in the middle of something really horrible. It seems like someone has it out for their family, and is using them as a hoax. I agree with Reg, the murder was most likely a set up.

I like how you made a friendship between regulus and allison, and how at the end Lucas is standing over a dead proffessor, write more! :-)

Ah, read this story because I laughed at the summary: I think Voldemort and the Mafia want to kill me. That just made me proper laugh. I dunno why really but there you go, my mind works in mysterious ways... :L read the chapter and didn't think it made much sense but then I went back to the summary to remember what had made me laugh and read the bit about her dad killng the minister for magic and then I understood. Good beginning, will definitely read the next chapters. Can't wait to hear what happens next!

I it was supposed to be a little bit confusing I guess, simply because I can not stand stories that start out with the narrator introducing themselves and telling the reader all about them and their friends, and boyfriends and enemies and family and what they love.and blah blah. and the first chapter is more of an introduction and set up to most of the story.

I really agree with your A/N - I think using O/C gives it a bit more originality and depth.
Really interesting first chapter
