Ahh that's cute! Poor Ron, FAIL! I didn't think Hermione would let her dad treat Ron like that. though you are so right, he would have definately embarrassed himself in this situation! I loved the whole Ginny - putting - on - his -makeup thing. Well done :)

Author's Response: thank you so much!! haha i was expirementing with Ron! I was really happy about how the comedy turned out! Yes, its a stretch! But whatever! haha thanks so much for the review it means a lot!

Review #4, by AndrinaBlack No Window High Enough

22nd August 2010:
The beginning made me smile especially because I can so recognise that. Why do people say that women are supposed to be slower to get ready. I'm sure some are and I'm sure I am too sometimes, but when I lived with my parents it was always my dad who was the last to be ready.

There are some small spelling mistakes, like there instead of their at some place and since instead of sense. You also have flu powder instead of floo powder. I think your spell check might have been a bit over entusiastic there. :P

I liked the beginning and the end of this story best. I have to say that the middle wasn't quite my style of humour, with all the crazy accidents and everything happening to Ron in quick succession so I don't really know what to say about that. But I especially liked the interaction between Ginny and Ron. She was teasing him, but also helping him so it really felt they were very much in character there. I also really liked the sweet ending with Ron and Hermione. It's cute how he says that he went through all that for her (and I believe he would) and how she still acts like she would if nothing had happened, except of course that she asks about it. :)

Author's Response: Haha yes, the begining was really fun to write because i wanted to show how truly nervous he was and that guys cant just me "macho" all the time! Yes, my spelling is terrible! Haha i rely solely on spellcheck! Thanks for the review, it means a lot and im glad that you enjoyed it!

Aside from all the spelling errors, this was a cute story! It explains why Hermione was so diligent in studying for her tests and doing well in school- her father is very strict about that kind of stuff! I wish that I could have read one of the questions on the test. I also think that Ron and Ginny's relationship is shown very well in the beginning of this one-shot.
Only criticism is the many spelling errors- i.e. "Anough" in the story and chapter summaries should be "enough"... but you get the picture.

Keep writing!

Nixie

Author's Response: thanks so much you review means a lot(:
