I'm so glad you wrote Scorpius's perspective on this. I think perhaps this should have been a part of "Dream for Me", it ties in so well!

But I dont like his dad, I thought he could change but not in this one, wouldnt suprise me if the mistresses one of them could be Pansy. The last para is the one that stands out to me the most. 10/10

Review #4, by flying_rabbit Lost way

19th April 2010:
Mary... is she Scorpius (not so?) secret admirer, or something? His wannabe-girlfriend? She sounds annoying, at any rate. I'm sort of glad Scorpius didn't start joking around about Rose being sick and such.
I think it happens to a lot of kids, that they slowly become like their parents, some to a bigger extent than others, even though they always vowed that that would never happen to them. I hope Scorpius will manage to become less like his father as time progresses...
Although the note was short, I do have a question about it: from the 'my beloved Scorpius', but even more from the 'your father and I', I would've expected Astoria to sign the note with 'mum' or 'your mother', not with just her name. It kind of makes it seem, to me at least, as if she's not his mother, but his father's second wife, or something like that. But maybe I'm just crazy.
The way Scorpius describes his father, I can imagine that he doesn't want to become like him. And once again, I can't quite imagine why his father would pamper him with a new broom for Christmas. Perhaps to keep him happy and quiet? But he doesn't really seem to care about that. Or I'm misinterpreting the whole thing. Sorry.
I'm glad that Scorpius doesn't mention anywhere that he was perhaps a little angry because of what Rose's mother had done. Perhaps he did feel angry, but then it wasn't important enough to mention :)
And, as a last note, it's funny that he does remember that one faithful night, and he does mention Rose getting sick, but he absolutely doesn't put two and two together. Not that many people would, I think, but... for an 'all knowing audience', that's something that kind of sticks out :)
All in all, I think it was a good idea to show Scorpius' view on the happenings during that Potions class. Makes him seem a little less cruel. But he could still work on his attitude ;)

Author's Response: Scorpius should definetely work on his attitude. Mary is indeed very interested in him and I guess that's going to crop up in Dream for me again in the future.

I think I just had Astoria sign the note with her name, because I don't think she'd let herself become emotional in such a time of distress. There wasn't much behind it, it should just sound a little detached.

Actually you'd fall off your chair if you knew the names of these women Draco invites to his home. I only gave one of them particular thought, but I think Pansy would be a good guess for another one. Though he doesn't do with all of them what is implied here, Scorpius just assumes that's what happens.

Draco cares about his son, but it's a complicated matter and the whole drama will unfold once the cat is out of the bag about the baby. I'm really glad Scorpius came across less cruel here :)

Author's Response: You're very welcome! It's good to know that Scorpius's perspecitive is also appreciated, I was beginning to worry that he came of too negatively in Dream for me!

i love it, the other side is always important

Author's Response: I'm glad you love it, I really wanted to get a little more into how Scorpius feels.

The next chapter of 'Dream for me' is in the queue, so it should be up soon!

Thanks a lot for leaving a review!
