Once again, great. I'm realizing after only two chapters that you have amazing powers of description. From Nick's death in the beginning to Victoria at the end, once again, completely immersive.

I feel bad for Nick, having to leave his girl and his unborn child. It reminded me a lot of Lupin in DH, except Remus ended up with them, I guess.

By the way, the banner was beautiful as well,

Author's Response: Once again, thanks. I enjoy description the most when writing, I like to let my mind just come up with everything I want people to see.
And yes, I feel bad for Nick, but his character always interested me, so writing about him was quite fun.

This story raises a lot of questions for me. What does Nick do when the child is born? Does he seek him/her out? Why does Nick choose to stay if he is going to leave Victoria anyway? What will happen when Victoria dies? So basically, you should write more so I have answers to my questions. :P (How's that for selfish?)

Wow! Um, first of all I love your banner! Secondly, wow! That was a really unusual story but I liked it a lot. It was very sad, but very peaceful in a way. Victoria's pain is something that is inevitable, but it is all about Nicholas, which I can understand. I think this story, or at least Nicholas's timeline needs a little bit of a backstory though. Otherwise, fantastic!

And I loved writing this story, Nicholas always interested me, so I thought well was there anyone special in is life, etc.
So I was inspired to write this story :).
Thanks for the advice on a backstory as well, I'll try to bring that in on my future one-shots:).

Wow, it's such an amazing story! I never thought much of Sir Nicholas, so this opened my eyes a little. Its very different, and I wish you would continue.

I was a bit down when I first posted this and got no reviews...
But you've now made my day ;D.
And yes, this was my favorite story to write so far to be quite honest and I have been thinking about making it into a short story or a novella as he travels towards Hogwarts.
But if I do, I'm afraid it will not be until I have finished my two current stories.
