17th March 2015:
Hiya! Here for the HPFF fundraiser review battle ^_^ also I'm on a mission to find every scorbus fic on the site because they are totally my otp and there's not nearly enough fic of them :") so it was such a nice surprise to find this at the back of the new LGBTQ tag!

Your writing is just gorgeous. Even though this was short it really felt like you utilised every word, and the descriptions were beautiful. A lot of this seemed almost poetic. And you portrayed Al and Scorp's insecurities but also their love for each other in such a perfect balance. It was all just so sweet and romantic. I really loved:

You lean closer and pull him into a kiss. It is delicate, a timid flower being buffeted by the breeze, but beautiful and passionate nonetheless.

^such a beautiful metaphor!

Thanks so much for putting this adorable story out into the world!

Author's Response: Hiya! I absolutely adore Scorbus, I've just always felt that they would be super adorable together.
This is possibly the fluffiest thing I have ever written! It was such a joy to write, I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for this lovely review, it has really brightened my otherwise dull day of uni work :)

House Cup Review 2014
Okay. I live here now. On your page :p

As I mentioned in my last review, I'm a major Rose/Scorpius Shipper, so I wouldn't usually go for this either. But I love your writing and I was very curious.

I found that it was very different from the kind of stories you usually write. Still, it was very sweet and it put a smile on my face. You captured their emotions really well, especially through their kisses. The way you described everything was really beautiful. You managed to say a lot without saying much at all. I like that you wrote teenage love just as it would be, no matter what the sexuality. The only difference here is that there was a forbidden element, not only in terms of sexuality but also, familial tensions I suppose. You caught all these emotions well. The passsion, the urgency, the love and the anxiety.

As usual, you've written this well :) Great job!

Aww. This was really sweet!

It's definitely a bit of a departure from a lot of your other fics that I've read at this point, but I was happy to find that I liked it just as much. I thought that you captured the mystery - and anxiety! - of young love perfectly, particularly when the teenagers in question aren't straight. The back and forth about whether or not they were both ready, the admission from Scorpius that yes, he would like to marry Albus one day... it was really soft and lovely and wonderfully done, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I also liked that there wasn't any particular anxiety about telling their parents - or at least, not in terms of some Romeo/Juliet family feud. It's certainly plausible, but it's nice to see a fic without it - where Scorpius and Albus are just Scorpius and Albus.

Great job.

Aawwh, it's sooo cute! Just one thing: Scorpius is meant to have blonde hair... ah well, it works nonetheless. :) brilliant, 10/10!

Author's Response: Thank you! I know most people write him as blond, but I figured that if Astoria had brown hair he could too. Thanks so much for taking the time to review, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
