I am in the process of this challenge too, but I keep finding my tale inferior to others. As with this story. Everything else feels so powerful against my poor darling. =S

Oh, that was very good! I loved your imagery and way with words! So very good!

I've never read many Remus/Tonks stories. It's not that I don't like the characters, I just get side-tracked reading other characters that are my favorites. And the thought that they both died in DH makes me really sad, so I don't like to dwell on it. This was beautifully done, however, and I'm glad I stopped to read it!

Every time I read a Remus story, I get this feeling inside of me and I just hate it. He is such a gentle, kind and good soul. Every time he experiences happiness, it is short-lived. And I just hate it. Althought, I do absolutely adore reading about it.

This was really lovely. And it really epitomised those moments when words really are not needed. This was one of those such moments. And you described it perfectly.

I loved the beginning. All those sentences about time. They were so well written. Almost the types of things you would expect to find in a collection of quotes, you know? Very profound. I loved that.

And, of course, the story itself. Remus and Tonks is such a an odd pairing and one that I definitely was not accepting of in the beginning. But the more I read about it, the more I love it. They work so well together. And you embodied that in this.
The love they have for each other. And that foreboding feeling - the one that they know this is the last time. It was just... so sad. And so heartbreaking.

This was amazing. All the entries to the challenge have just been so strong! I hope you enjoyed the challenge.

My goodness!

I've never been a fan of Remus/Tonks simply because I never thought they were that great together, but this was beautiful!

I love the poetic feel to it and the characterization seems perfectly Canon. It was very poetic and tragic. The flow seemed natural and moved smoothly, another thing I liked about this one-shot. None of the words seemed out of place.
