Wow. I was trolling HPFF for good crossovers, when I stumbled across this fic. CSI/Harry Potter? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?

This was a masterful start--the details, the characterization, everything is great. I particularly loved that Snape managed to be his usual snarky, curmudgeony self, even when in pain. We don't know too much about Quinn yet (sorry if she's a crossover character, I'm not totally up on all my CSI) but she seems promising.

The only bit that seemed a bit odd to me was when Voldy obliviated Snape rather than killing him. Of course, it was necessary for the plot to progress, but it seemed a bit OOC. I mean, Voldemort doesn't seem like the type to obliviate when he could kill. That seemed more like something someone in the Order would do, in order to protect the knowledge Snape's mind holds--or even something he might do to himself.

Anyway, I can't wait to read on!

Well, I certainly loved this chapter. More magical people! That'll definitely shake things up. But why must you leave on such an utterly depressing note? Not that I didn'tenjoy it, and now I really want to know how this is going to affect him. Great job by the way of making the end part heartrendingly sad but not soppy.

And since you asked, YES it really is snowing here in Scotland, (clarkston, Glasgow to be more precise!) Its weird having loads of snow after having none at all for 17 years, our school that I swear wouldn't close even if it was the end of the world were forced to let us leave early today because all trains and buses have stopped and it would be too dangerous to make us walk home in the dark!!!
