My only complaint is that this is far too short a chapter, in my mind.

But I do love that you've written a piece from Severus' point of view and have done some digging around in his head. I appreciate when people can do that aptly and very Canonly as I think you've managed.

I just think that Sev may be a tad bit more descriptive, but that's just me. However, I like this.
