Phrases like these shot out, and gave me a giggle. It was a nice play on words.

I think you did very well introducing Ivy, her character was very red lined, very personalized.

So far it sounds like a great storyline, you've already got a few potential plots set, and the reader is wondering: so will she stay with Jasper? or will it be a Remus/Ivy or a Sirius/Ivy...
plus she's a werewolf!

I think you also did very well in introducing each character as they came, maybe just the way they spoke (James and his sing-song voice) or a small action, (Remus and his head nod), Sirius with his cocky grin, and even Peter didn't at all seem to be the cleche'd odd-man-out. I like that you said the 'THREE most eligable'

Also, just in the way you started the story, it wasn't over done, but it had so much.essence, so much flavor and pizaz, and yet completely believable...

Interesting truly fascinating, I really really hope Jasper does not break her heart when she tells him. But then I am guessing the story would be different, hmmm interesting cannot wait for more
