10th January 2010:
It's cute. Definitely not the way I ever imagined their relationship, but you make it work quite well. The idea of them being in a Muggle diner is kind of unbelievable; however, it adds an interesting backdrop to their encounter. Good job. =]

Author's Response: Thank you! That's so great to hear :) When I first started writing Bellatrix (in my novel about her, Sunflowers) I found her really difficult to write but I've really grown into her perspective (as scary as that sounds, lol). I'm glad that translates well into this!

Yes, the Muggle diner was actually an intentional juxtaposition - one that will be explained in Sunflowers when I get to this point of the novel. I'm glad you picked up on it though, as it is really important :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and review!!

Sorry I'm not in the mood for leaving long reviews today - but this was fantastic. It's nice to see Bellatrix in a less-crazy mood (altho Crazy Bella is quite awesome as well). This was sweet and clever and brilliant. As usual!

Author's Response: No problem at all! Any review is an awesome review - and you've left more than enough review for me! Seriously, I feel spoiled and I really, really appreciate you taking the time to do so :)

I adore writing less-crazy Bellatrix (obviously, as I have a WIP focused on that Bella lol) and I'm glad you enjoyed it as well.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. You're too kind!!

Review #4, by SnitchSnatcher Waiting

14th December 2009:
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

DANI! THIS IS FANTASTIC.

LIKE, WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I'M SQUEALING RIGHT NOW.

I wasn't expecting this - not at all, but it's SUCH a wonderful surprise. I love the fact you decided to write Bella and Rodolphus outside of Sunflowers because, even though I adore it to pieces, it's taking much too long for them to get on with their relationship. So to see them like this...it's just marvellously touching. And the idea of a pregnant Bella is a little, can we say, frightening? Lol. But as always I LOVED Rodolphus in this. Absolutely adored him.

Gah, this was great! You should do more of these; I love it!

XOXOXOXOXO,
Molly

Author's Response: MOLLY! So sorry for the delayed response! Unluckily for you, this review happened to be the first of 23 that collected dust in my unanswered reviews section and I couldn't find the initiative to start responding to them all :P I'm only a poor, unknown author - I'm not used to that many! Haha.

ANYWAY! I am so, so, so, so glad you enjoyed this. You have no idea (or maybe you do, I squee you quite often haha) how much I value your opinion, so hearing this means loads!

Gah, I know eh?! I was just itching in chapter ONE to get them together - the fact that I managed to hold off until Chapter 6 is a miracle haha

I agree, 100%. Pregnant Bellatrix = so freaking scary. I was uncertain if I should post this or not for the very reason it's revealed that she is pregnant. I didn't want to give that plot point away but, well, there's more ;) So I didn't feel TOO terrible lol

I love Rodolphus, always. Always, always, always. The character he has become in my head is one of my favourite characterizations I've ever written - so I'm glad it translates well!

Again, thanks SO much for this splendid review. You spoil me with all the reviews you post and ILY for it!!
