Excellent story! Harry always seems to take emotions to the extreme so this story is probably a lot like he would act. I can easily see how he would get to the point where he didn't care anymore. I especially liked how Hermione didn't waste any time over "not hurting Ron". I really don't think Harry or Hermione would seriously give up their present and futures just to not hurt Ron or Ginny. It would only hurt worse later on in the relationships. Anyway, I would love to see a sequel...

Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to really capture the spirit of what makes him "Harry Potter", the same little boy Rowling created in her books. I'm really glad you liked it, and I'll see what I can do about a sequel, though this story was probably a fluke.

I really liked the story, however I have a correction, Ginny's eyes are brown, not blue. But compared to other stories on this site, that's nothing. So great story, I really enjoyed reading it, excellent writing.

Author's Response: Actually, according to the laws of genetics, if Ron has blue eyes, both his parents need blue eyes, so Ginny and all the rest of the Weasley children need blue eyes.

But what does it matter what color Ginny Weasley's eyes are?

THIS STORY IS UNSPEAKABLY AWESOME. I LOVED IT AND REALLY CAN'T TYPE WORDS GREAT ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE IT.
