I wondered if it might be him! I like the ghostly flow of this story. Very chilling but mysterious at the same time, not simply scary-for-scary's-sake. A wonderfully executed one-shot, which was just what I was looking for. ^_^

Brilliant story! I am so happy I read this story. It is different in an entirely positive way.

Having now read two of your dark one-shots, I have to say that you are very good at creating images with your words. Incredible and frightening images.

Remus John Lupin- so kind and gentle, without this story I don't think I could have ever even imagined what he would be like if he gave in to his animalistic side. It is terrible and tragic but I suppose if he didn't have the support he had from the Marauders and if he wasn't such a good person, he could have easily turned out like this.

wow...this fanfic was really...unique in a good way. i've never read a fanfic where remus is a monster. he's always been portrayed as a sweet, kind character who tries to control himself. how did he become such a monster? what did sam do that was so cowardly? i have so many questions!

This is a stunning piece of work. Your writing is always so elegant and the images are breathtaking (even though it's also a rather frightening scene). It seems as though Remus has succumbed to everything that he has hated - has become a monster, uncontrollable and dangerous.

And yet, I still can't help but adore him. I pity him, but at the same time, I'm disgusted by him. It's hard to imagine that Remus Lupin - handsome, kind, soft-spoken Remus Lupin - has become this monster, this creature that feeds and howls and causes nightmares.

It's kind of ironic that, the one time that Sam decides to go back into the house to help save someone - to warn them - is the time that she's attacked and is presumably killed. It's also sad, because she's watched her friend and love wither away and it's all because she had been a coward.

Oh, Remus. This is a wonderful one-shot. It's impressive and elegant and well-written. It conveys such a strong feeling and you use imagery so wonderfully. Definitely one of my new favorites.
