Yay! I really liked it, and it made the feminist inside me jump for joy! I thought it was poignant and well-written. So many women give up everything to love a man (men give up everything for women, etc, too.) who is undeserving or just unhealthy for them, and I thought it was great you wrote a story about that. My only critique was that at one point you called Jerry, Gary. Small mistake. Anyway, I also did the indie song challenge, and I just wanted to see where other people let the music take them. It was a great story.
Favorite Line:
"A dictator would’ve been a great thing for Jerry to aspire to, though Lily didn’t realize it until much later, because he had an incredible talent for making her do exactly what he wanted." That touched a very deep and personal place in my life, and it was very well put.

Author's Response: Hooray! Thank you! Growing up in an all-girls' high school really helped me to get to that point, too. I thought it was important to show a young woman escaping from one of those bad relationships rather than contributing to the many stories of women who are stuck. Oops! I'll go back at fix that.
