Aw, Jo, I loved this! I don't have much to say about it, but it was so sweet. You worked the staffers' names in so cleverly, and on top of that you worked in a "thank you" and wrote another story about teaching/role models. This was beautiful.

10/10 for squishableness and silliness and niceness. XD

Thank-you :) I was wondering how I was going to fit all the staffers' names into it, especially when I realised halfway though it was going to be a problem using names involving James, Lily and Harry when my fic was set before those characters were born! It was fun to write though and I loved being able to offer my own little tribute to our hardworking staff :)

Ha! I read this first to spot the names and then went back again to read it properly. I love McGongall, but it's so hard to think of her as anything but a strict and spirited older woman!

I did love how you showed how she made the decision to go into teaching, it really was meant to be that way - whether she knew it or not in that time. Imagine her as anything else!

Also - I'm in a potion! Wo!

McGonagall is one of my favourite characters, and definitely my favourite teacher of the series. I thought it would be interesting looking at her at that young age making a future determining decision. I definitely couldn't imagine her as anything else but a teacher, she really fits that role too well.

i really like this story and i l ove how you have intergrated a lot of the staff members names/pennames within it too. it made me laugh so much.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I had a lot of fun trying to think of ways to integrate all the staff member names into the story. Actually I think yours was the only name I didn't fully incorporate and I just had to cut it down to Lily and James. Thanks for reviewing.
