Wow! I think you handled that very sensitively, actually - this is a difficult subject to write about, and frankly I think it's rather brave of you to try it. It was written realistically, as well - all Rose's thoughts and emotions, and her eventual decision, of course, all seemed very appropriate to the situation she was in. I also really liked your characterisations of both her and Scorpius. Your writing was just brilliant and it was a thoroughly enjoyable read, and quite powerful, as well. 9/10 :)
