This is such a unique, wonderful piece. We hardly see Harry as the main character in Next-Gen fics or as working at Hogwarts. It's a great premise for a fic, and this was great. I, for the life of me, cannot write fluff unless it's with copious amounts of distasteful humor. It is my great weakness. I just can't do it. So I tip my hat off to you!

Also your characterization of all the portraits was perfect. I heard all of their voices in my head as I was reading.

I was really proud of this story and loved writing for the portraits even if I did originally get some sad comments that most of the canon characters were dead. I've been encouraged to write more in this time period and I do have it on my to-do list :) Thank you!

Hey! Lee from TGS here! And I have to say, I really enjoyed this. It was really interesting to see what Harry was like after so many friends have passedn and his conversation with portrait Snape was funny, as well as the tale of Ginny and the kids at Quidditch games. :P Over all, an enjoyable read.

Oh what a lovely story. I always enjoyed the interactions with the portraits. It usually depresses me when stories like these have Ginny dying first. Poor Harry. But his painted friends are correct. As long as you have breath, you should enjoy those around you. Good one.
