Wow... I've read your Author's Page on the forums... and how you don't really write much of Hogwarts era fics because you believe JKR basically nailed everything to core.

But to me, it's still nice to see what others contribute to the story... whether it's canon or not.

And this one shot here was definitely an enjoyable read. I basked in every word of Hermione's words, and you really captured her character and the feels of Deathly Hallows. I hope you consider to actually write a novel of the trio.

Your writing is so amazing! ♥ And again, I enjoyed reading this... I feel like it was a sequel to the seventh book almost... Just through Hermione's POV...

Additionally, the conversation between Ron and Hermione was lovely!

I gotta be honest... I ship Ron and Hermione... but I could never really... feel that chemistry between them... And so they weren't really my favorite pairing.

However, in this case... you creating this helped me to see that Ron and Hermione does have potential that JKR had portrayed in the beginning. I just never really found many fics that equal to Joanne's portrayal... But you did wonderfully.

Again, I do hope you think of what I said - and continue to write beautiful stories. ;)

Author's Response: Hi Asphodel,

Thank you so much for the review and your kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed the story :) I have definitely considered writing bigger works about the trio (in fact I have a couple little things saved away on my computer right now), but I always seem to fall back into that Next Gen stuff...I suppose I feel freer and like I have a little bit more room to breathe when there's less stuff that's canon. But I would love to take on the challenge of writing more trio things! As much as they're the main characters of the series, I feel like their friendship as the three of them together tends to be really underrepresented in fic, and I'd love to explore that more.

To be honest, I really struggled with Ron/Hermione when the books were first coming you said, I didn't really feel that chemistry between them as much as I thought I was supposed to. (Unpopular opinion: I still struggle with Harry/Ginny sometimes.) But now I absolutely LOVE Ron/Hermione, and I really love to write them like this, when they're first starting out and they're trying to figure out where they stand with each other as well as be fully present with Harry on the Horcrux hunt. I would love to take on some more stories like this one, maybe set during DH or just after the Battle of Hogwarts.

Anyway, the point of all my rambling is: thank you for reading! I always appreciate reviews so much!

I love this (3 It's so beautiful:) A lovely friendship story that will always be beautiful. The description just sounds so like Hermione and the way it's written is so like how I imagined her to think. A perfect one-shot:)

Author's Response: Thanks! Hahaha for a second I wasn't sure what you were commenting on...then I realized it was a story I wrote a long time ago! I'm glad you enjoyed it, as it was one of my very earliest endeavors. :)

interesting thoughts from Hermoine. Seeing what is in her heart and being able to describe it on paper is remarkable. they will all be fine, if they stay together and stay friends. nicely written. Sorry you have not gotten any reviews from this. In the next movie 'Deathly Hallows" it would be great to see such a scene as this. You maybe defining JK Rowling's ideas in your own writings.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback! I love the trio's friendship :)
