Author's Response: This, was where I was planning originally to have the poisoner's identity to be discovered, so I decided that it was going to be the best thing to have it and stick to the plan.
Well all of that comes into the next chapter, which I have just this moment put into the queue. So at a guess chapter 57 is going to be up in under a week from now, so you won't have to wait too much longer.

Author's Response: Well I can tell you now, that chapters 57-59 are complete, and I'm going to be working on chapter 60 today when I get the chance.
I'm just waiting on a validation for a chapter from another one of my stories.
But I expect that I'll be able to have chapter 57 up in about 7 to 10days time.

It took me such a long time to work out exactly who I wanted to have as the culprit, and as I was writing it all seemed to click together. But I will admit to having about a list of 20 people who I thought it could work with, and it was a fairly widespread list of different characters I will admit.
Well the good news is, that I am just waiting for another chapter for one of my other stories to be validated and then I can put the 57th chapter into the queue, and then I can continue to write from chapter 60 onwards.

Author's Response: I'm so glad that you're enjoying it!
Yes, I don't think I could have managed to keep these two apart for long. I did, however, plan to have it so that Hermione was only able to figure out what had happened at Daphne's/Draco's wedding, but then I decided against it. Mainly on the grounds it had been done before, and that it would take me far too long.
Well I can promise you now, it's going to be a long time until this story is complete. The main reason for that is because I really do not want this story to end, and that I don't as yet have any idea when I am going to finish this story.
I do have a couple of ideas, but they all have different time-lines in terms of what happens between them, and so I will have to let the flow of the story take me, and then I'll see where I end up.

Author's Response: Don't worry there's still a couple of pranks to come in this story. One of which is in the 50th and 51st chapters, and that one's aimed at Daphne, and there's also going to be another one much further on in the story. With the second prank I'm having a little help with it, just to make sure it's going to be perfect so that it'll go well in where I'm planning to have its setting.

This was a great chapter! I'm loving your story so far, but, what happened to Daphne and Astoria? Wasn't Astoria supposed to come for the holidays? I love it!!

Author's Response: Aw, why thank you. I'm so glad that you enjoyed that chapter. I admit that it was a chapter which was an awful lot of fun to write, because of the amount of things which were able to take place within one scene.
Do you know, I'm not actually certain!!! I think that they were there, but just more or less in the background which is why they weren't mentioned.

I seriously doubt that Lucius and Hermione's dad will be happy about any of this. I would not want the wrath of those two on me! And Draco and Hermione are rather formidable too.as well as their friends. That guy is in for a rude awakening. Glad to see an update...love your story

Author's Response: Yes, that will come more into the next chapter. Which should be up in about a week's time at a guess. Perhaps a little more than that, as I have another chapter from a different story to be validated first.
But yes, all of the characters in this story are pretty formidable, on that I shall agree. I think it's partly because of what they've been through which makes them as such.
Yes, I'm glad to actually be able to write this story properly again. It's taken me a little while to get back into the flow of it, but the next chapter is much more like what you're used to.

Author's Response: Yes, indeed poor Hermione. I do feel sorry for her in this chapter, I will admit, but I also know that she's going to be OK.
As for Tomlinson, there's a lot more explanation in the next chapter as to what his motives were and things like that.
I'm glad that you like Draco's character, I have to say he's one of my favourite characters to write.
Well I'm sure that the next chapter won't be too much longer. About another week to 10days at a guess. The reason for which is because I'm just waiting for another chapter to be validated and then I can put the completely written 57 in.

I promise that I will be continuing with this story until it's complete, which if I am honest could quite easily be another 50 chapters if not more, or even a little less- which makes me a little sad to think about.
But just how much you love it makes me want to continue. The good news is that I have the next 3chapters of this story complete and I am going to be working on the 60th chapter later today- 23rd August 2010- and then I'll have to see where this story takes me, as it is quite possible for me to write another 5 chapters in a day.
Aw, thank you so much for that. Don't worry, you're not really that late!! The results of them come out in two days time, which is just a little nerve wracking but I promise no matter what the outcome is to carry on writing!
I do understand what you mean by a good incomplete HPFF story, because there are some absolutely amazing stories out there. But I will be carrying on with this story until it's done, and I can only hope that you'll continue to enjoy it as it continues.

Author's Response: I'm glad that you liked the cliff-hanger. For ages I was trying to work out how write the ball scene, and then it just worked out best to have that in two, with a HUGE cliff-hanger on the one side of things, and then a second much smaller cliff-hanger in this chapter.

Author's Response: Aw thank you, I enjoyed writing this chapter for the two sides of the same chapter. One the first half of it, you have the parents' relationship with one another, and that was definitely fun to write. Mainly because of the different views held by the different sets of parents.
Then came the second half, with Hermione and Draco but then with some more the parents' views as well. So you were able to see both sides of the characters in this situation clearly which is something I loved being able to do.
