Hola de nuevo a mi amigo. Ahora, en la segunda parte de su regalo. I knew spanish class would come in handy at some point of my life. :)

Well you can definitely see an improvement in the quality of your writing, the plot and the characters really intrigued me. I can see a lot of your personal style now as well, your style really does suit your style of writing. It was really refreshing to see an emotional and caring Sirius rather than the stereotypical fanfiction persona that he has that is somewhat unrealistic considering the nature of the books.

However, I would liked to have seen more grief and devastation over the death of her family, it seemed as if you just brushed that aside and focued more on her own safety. I would have liked to have seen more development of how she reacted towards the deaths.

I really liked the bittersweet moment of the kiss, it was sweet and sad and really gave you a feel as to how much the characters really did like each other. As I previously stated, the characterisation of Sirius was very different from what you usually see in fanfiction and I really enjoyed that aspect.

Overall, the piece flowed beautifully and it was well written, it was really nice to see the development of your personal style and how you make the piece your own. :D - another cheeser!

Hey HPB! I finally found time to catch up on my fanfic reading (just got my wisdom teeth pulled), and thought I'd come see your writing.

I loved how quickly you developed Nikki. In my writing, I feel like it takes me forever to establish somebody's character, but I think you did really well in such a short amount of space. Also, I loved the twist at the end (despite how tragic it was.) The perspective changed to something really passive, which was such an interesting contrast between the subject matter, but it worked well with Sirius' mood.

My only suggestion: it be longer! Not like novel-length, but maybe a couple more chapters. I'd like to see more of the friendship between Nikki and Sirius or Nikki and Lily just so I understand a little better how they feel when they find out about her death.

Great work though! I loved it! Can't wait to read some more of your stuff :-)

Author's Response: OMG thank you! I always love it when you've got free time like that and you can just read and read and read . I haven't had time like that in ages!

I don't know where the image of Nikki came from in my head. But wherever it was, it was strong. I think out of nearly every character I have ever written in any story I have ever written, Nikki Laud is the one I can picture most in my mind. It seems like I could nearly imagine in her in any situation at all and immediately know what she would do. A little freaky actually. Maybe that was why it was a little easy to develop her.

My problem = as soon as I try to write a long story, my mind goes blank. I wrote this a while ago at a different time, my feelings were different, so as much as I would like to (and I really would!) I don't think I can go back to her. :'( Sad,I know.

Thanks for reading! Hugs

I thought I should return the favour and review your story :)
I didn't realise you wrote this!
I read it a while back and really liked it, but being the lazy person I am didn't review.
I full on love Nikki's character, how it's never explained but yet you feel like you've know her all your life and you feel for her aswell.
Brilliant story, thankyou so much :) xx

Author's Response: Once you have written a few stories you realise how happy reviews make you so you start to review everything you read. Well, that's me anyway. I love Nikki to, how she is so determined. I really have no idea how I came up with her, I love how my fingers randomly create awesome stories. Nothing to do with me at all!
Thanks for the review, Hugs

oy! sirius' eyes are gray!

this story is so sad, i was nearly crying myself though half of it. i wish you could have made it like a cover-up in the newspaper instead of what really happened. poor sirius. you know, they never said 'i love you' or anything, or even if they did love each other.

oh, can't there be a second chapter? like where sirius sees nikki again three years later to find it was a coverup newpaper topic, and she says goodbye and that she loved him? that would make the story much, much better, because a bitter end just depresses everyone, you know?

to dream timelessly is to fly under the stars, without the limit of where you're wings can take you- me.

Author's Response: Oops! I changed it in my other story, but not in this! I love Sirius's grey eyes, I just thought I had changed it. Thanks for the point out.

I know this is really sad! And it does sort of have a bitter end doesn't it? Sorry, but I don't think that I will be able to write another chappie, she is dead. I didn't want her to die though, it just came into my head.

Lucky for you, I am about to post a new story that has a happy ending! Finally, for once.

Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened. (I found this after I posted it)

Thanks for R&R, Hugs
