A very nice story! I love how you've given everyone human qualities, and the story seems to be progressing along rather well. Maybe just slightly longer chapters? I understand the story's just begun, but still...Very good spelling and grammar, which is pretty rare around here. I like where this is going. Keep it up!

Wow cool first chapter i would have liked it longer and more informative though i also felt like you were rushing this story alot and a question isn't just under two years or whatever a bit of a short time for someone to get over their husbands death fall in love get married and for their children to like the man? i'm sorry to sound like this but i think you should know ! but anyhow even with the above i actually really enjoyed this story and i can't wait to see where you take it !! Oh and by the way AMAZING banner !!

Author's Response: Don't worry, don't worry!
First off, Melody and Richard divorced about 5 years prior to his death when Sassy was about 9. It's all explained later, because that is definitely too little time. Still, she feels guilty about his death as does Sassy and you'll find out why later!
I'm so glad you liked the story! I know, it's a bit rushed so I might edit by adding an introductory chapter. I kind of wanted it rushed though, sort of fast and witty like Sassy. She'll explain at one point and everything will all make sense.

Great beginning. Your plot line is very interesting. I can't wait to read more. My only suggestion would be to leave a space in between paragraphs. I only saw a problem with that towards the end. Also, I wish it could have been a bit longer, lol. Let me know when you update!
