Well, that was just wonderful. You know me--I liked reading about Thanksgiving dinner and I sure know what Sevvy means about being thankful for pumpkin pie. I love it. And, I loved the ending, when Simon grows up. I'm still not sure whether I'll read the first part of Prince Manor or Someone to Watch Over Me but I'll figure that out tomorrow. Author's Response: Pumpkin pie! It's heaven! Yeah, I like that part too, because it shows just how much Simon appreciated Severus, even when he was grown. Read STWOM, it has no reviews so far and is lonely.

The mean part of me hopes the kid just wanders off never to be seen again. What a horrible brat. I think Sev's punishment was very fair considering the brat could've caused some very serious problems, like death and mayhem. Thank goodness there was a firecaller close by. I think they'll find Simon but will this be enough to convince Simon that he needs to behave and stop destroying everyone's holiday.

Author's Response: Yes indeed, and hopefully the kid will learn his lesson now that Sev's spanked him. It really was the last straw for him.

I think it's so cool that a Native Brit is into celebrating Thanksgiving. So much so that he even has a stuffing recipe and brings a dish to the family dinner. I can't wait to read about the whole family being together. It'll be Thanksgiving in July for me.
