This was the cutest story ever! It's so well-written that its amazing! Are you continuing this or is it a one-shot?

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing, firstly. You absolutely made my day. I'm really grateful. :D

I think this will stay a one-shot, but I /am/ thinking of writing some more about Lily and James' life cooped up in their house. If I do, I'll be sure to let you know! :D

Author's Response: Thank you so, so much for reviewing! You and your sister really are amazingly nice to me. ^_^

I'm so glad you like this story - it was just a little idea that came to me when I was watching 'The Dark Night', which is a really great movie, dunno if you've seen it. If you haven't, you should! It just shows how writing ideas could come from the unlikeliest of places. :)

Thanks again! :D

Oh, I'm not the first review... you need to tell me when your stuff gets validated! I came upon this randomly as I was checking your page... and I was like, "Oh, my gosh, ninja fighter wrote a story without telling me!" Oh, well, second is good enough.

Anyways, onto the actual review! But, before that... I recognized your quote, "Darkest before the Dawn." But, I couldn't put my finger on it... then you said the Dark Knight and I was like, "Oh, Lord, she's becoming a Gab, having the same obsessions as teachers."

Now, the actual review. Something amazing came from watching the Dark Knight at 10h30 at night... this was amazing. It was all cute, with Lily and James, I think you write them with such... I don't know what, but its fabulous. You, my friend do not give yourself nearly enough credit. I read this and I was like, "OH MY GOD, Ninja Fighter is the most amazing author, ever." I mean it. Everything with James and Lily's chemistry, their playful banter; every part of the dialogue was great. The description was so well done, and the ending was lovely.

All this to say, this was an amazing one-shot, I loved every bit of it. Where, oh, where, do these ingenious ideas come from? How can someone watch the Dark Knight and come up with this completely awesome idea? It's amazing. You're amazing. I love you :)

ps. You cannot argue this now: I want your talent, I have none compared to this. I said no arguing.

Author's Response: Well, I dunno there, Padfoot. Maaaybeee I want you to actually look at my page once in a while on your own, and actually prove your interest in my writing without me bugging you to do it. xDDD oh, fine, I'll make sure to tell you next time. :D

::points in accusation:: Um, NO. I so liked superheroes before Gab, even though it was really the Dark Knight that got me into Batman. I really loved the quote, so I decided to write this. But my favourite superhero is still Spiderman. ^_^

Aaawwwhhh, you too sweet, love. I don't think I do JKR any justice at all, my Lily and James are never as good as I want them to turn out. but I'm glad my random Dark Knight watching made you so happy, even though there's no way I'm the best author ever. HELLO, THAT'S YOU. But I think I'm getting better with the banter thing, wittiness is coming easier to me now, though still nowhere near as much as I'd like it to. ;)

Um, by hearing a quote and getting hit by a randomly insane idea and the idea not moving when you try to make it move, and sitting down in front of the TV and writing this crap in two and a half hours? ^^ You're the amazing, cool, talented one.

Love you more :)

P.S. um, sure, if you want the bunch of crap I use to write, than you're welcome to take it. maybe I'll write better with absolutely NO talent than with whatever crap spews out of me. :D

aww! this one-shot is really sweet :) there are so many, cute and funny lines it in. and harry does really turn out to be their dawn!
my favourite part:
“Isn't that a Muggle saying?” she teased, her chin on his shoulder tilting her head upwards. “How do you know that?”

“It comes from six years of stalking the love of your life, who happens to be a Muggleborn,” he shrugged lightly, and they both laughed together, alto and tenor, a perfect harmony.

ah i loved it!

Author's Response: awh, thank you so much for being the first review for my little one-shot. I actually liked the way it turned out, thank you for reading&reviewing, like I said. xD It means a lot to me.

he does, and that\\\'s why I inserted that little moment of James reflection in there. Because he wouldn\\\'t just stop thinking about it when Lily turned down the idea of /them/ beating Voldemort. xD and if James himself couldn\\\'t do it, well, it would have to be someone with his genes. ::laughs::

also, I really liked the comparison of Harry with the dawn, because for so many wizards, Harry\\\'s first and second defeat of Voldemort was the dawn of a new age.

awh, thank you for listing your favourite part! that one was fun to write too - all the little James/Lily moments - can you not imagine James learning all these little Muggle things just to impress Lily? xDD

thank you, thank you, thank you again! you\\\'ve made my LIFE.
