I loved it, and especially the way Remus sees Harry symbolizing hope, even before Harry becomes "The Boy Who Lived." The writing is excellent, and it flows really well the whole way through.

The first scene made me crack up. I had this vivid image in my mind of these poor guys absolutely freaking out as their best friend's wife goes into labor.

I liked how you contrasted the new life and death that take place all in the span of one day, and I was glad to see you worked in the prophecy - with Harry being born right before midnight, that was an interesting twist! Dumbledore's reactions were perfect - mysterious and secretive, and we only know what he's thinking because we already know what the prophecy was about.

Really well done! 10/10
