Hehe, here I am again! Merry Christmas! Anyway, this was really cute again. I wish that Harry could have thought more about Ginny whilst he was off in the forests, and it's too bad this didn't actually happen. :/ I thought it was so sad when in the beginning they kissed and then were seperated again. Cute one shot and I love the song! *thumbs up* ~ViAuthor's Response: I'm glad you liked it! The song is one of my all time favourites (it has just a few short of 1000 listens on my iPod). Thanks for the present! -kbhg Report Review
Hi This is a lot later than I expected, I apologise. The review challenge is pushing me to read stuff which, normally, I would not. So: I've never read a songfic before. It's an odd little sub-genre and I'll admit, not one which particularly interests me. I for one would have difficulty fitting a story around someone else's words. But this song fits Harry and Ginny's predicament at this stage of their relationship. I think that there is no doubt that Ginny had effectively told Harry that she would wait for him. The hand-holding during "the Seven Potters" and "the birthday kiss" showed the depth of her commitment to him. Having said that, Harry's pretty stupid about relationships and I can see him writing a clumsy letter like this. This is a nice story and the words of the song fit extremely well with the story (though I have to say that I doubt that Ginny hears much Muggle music at home at the Burrow - but hey, artistic licence.) Two tiny nitpicks. One: Mum! Not mom, it's never mom anywhere in the UK. Two: the story is better than the summary, so instead of admitting that, you should chance the summary. NAuthor's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked this, your first song-fic, and I will definitely take your advice about the two nitpicks. -kbhg Report Review
