i think a smiling lucius, would have been rather awkward, seeing as the malfoys have that sort of aura, as though to emphasise how they have no emotions. but i sort of like this. the way you described narcissa, as a victim of love, is wonderful.

This is great, I always like seeing different kinds of Narcissa/Lucius relationships. I thought it was really quite lovely, even though obviously sad!
