Bravo. I think you do a great job of explaining how Snape transitions so quickly from being Lily's best friend to using such hurtful language with her. From this perspective, it doesn't seem quite so schizophrenic! :-)Author's Response: Thank you. I find Lily and Snape to be a fascinating relationship and I wish we had more canon on what happened.
