now really...i have officially decided to change my name to seriously_lovin_Moonylupin...really...you always have a way of capturing my heart. what a moving story. everything you said totally could have actually happened to Remus in 'real-life'. it's amazing the way your mind can think of things like this. and now i'm hooked, so i'm going thru and reading all of your fan-fics until you update 'memory'!!Author's Response: No, Sirius is much cooler than me! This was really just a spur of the moment one-shot I did during a break at school. I'm glad it came across realistically. Yay you're going to read my other fics! Thanks for reading! Report Review
Oh my god, I did not see that you had written something new! Wow!! Happyfulness reigns... I loved this songfic, the song was perfect and the way you wrote around it was positively artful, it was so emotive. I like the way you showed Mr. Lupin's thought patterns, and how he tried to come to terms with what had happened- it was so real. As usual your descriptions were perfect, not to long but deep enough to be brilliant. All in all, I loved it! 10/10Author's Response: Yay happyfulness! I was sitting in school one day listening to my David Cook cd and this song came on and inspiration just struck. I wanted each verse of the song to fit what was going through Mr. Lupin's head. This was actually going to be a companion piece of You Want to make a Memory, but I decided to make it separate. I tried really hard with the description, since there's one line of dialogue in the whole thing, so I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reading! Report Review
This was beautifully done! :D I love how you were actually literate, which is a big deal, trust me. I've read some terrible fanfics in my day, but this wasn't one of them. I loved the emotion and the subtle placing of the song lyrics that actually related. It was really sweet, it almost made me cry.Author's Response: Glad to hear this wasn't one of the terrible fics you've read :) When I was figuring out where to put the lyrics, I wanted the actual story to relate to them. omg!! that is sooo sad =[ poor Remus and Mr Lupin, awe- it must of been terrible for him knowing it was all his fault that Remus was bitten. The song was really sweet and went well with the story-line. I enjoyed reading this, because I think I have ever just read one other story based on little Remus getting bitten by Greyback, so it was change from the normal stories. 10!Author's Response: It was horrible for Mr. Lupin. I think his character would always continue to blame himself for it, even if Remus were to tell him that it wasn't his fault. I love that song, it's one of my favorites and it just stuck in my head that it would be great for a songfic like this. I love stories where it's based on Remus getting bitten, so I'm happy you liked this one! Thanks for reading! Report Review
Wonderful story, I was really able to see and understand the way Mr.Lupin was feeling. The flashbacks gave some real life to the story. Well done.Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! Report Review
Brilliant. Extremely sad, but brilliant. You captured Mr. Lupin's emotions perfectly. The love and loyalty he has to Remus is great. I also like how you had Mr. Lupin looking back at the past and looking towards the future. I first heard Permanent a few weeks ago when my friend had me listen to David Cook's CD. I love it. The funny thing is is that as soon as I heard it, I immediately thought of a song fic involving someone with lycanthropy. It's just such a perfect song for it. So, anyway, great job! I absolutely loved it. :)Author's Response: I started loving the character of Mr. Lupin when I started writing You Want to Make a memory (he's not the same one, obviously) and wanted to do a fic with his emotions about Remus's lycanthropy. Permanent is a beautiful song and I can see why that would be the first thing you'd think of. The lyrics fit well. Thanks a lot for reading! Report Review
