Review #1, by Canary in the Mine Paper Stems On Pointless Flowers

6th September 2009:
I love this.

Not only is it practically cannon, but it just seems as if this is how it happened XD Having it in 2nd POV seemed the right way to go. It just seemed so natural and honestly, depressing. I felt as if she were my own mother, not recognizing me, felt as if I were the one, holding pointless flowers...

And I loved how before she passes, she remembers.

Astoria's appearance was amazing. I loved how you tied it all in, and it seemed as if it really happened ^_^

Overall, this was an amazing oneshot; I adored it.

I love this portrayal of Draco! It's so rich, and dramatic. It's very sad, but the end is so hopeful. I really like how it gives him real depth and great character. Great story!

I thought this was wonderful. I really, really enjoyed it.

I was not expecting the character to be Draco, either. All the way through I was under the impression that it was Neville who was speaking, which I suppose is what you wanted to happen to your reader. :) It was cleverly written; well done.

Your descriptions were lovely, too. I just adored the way this was written. There was a lot of emotion in it and I thought your writing style was wonderful.

Well done, you should be proud. :)

Review #5, by Essie Paper Stems On Pointless Flowers

4th April 2009:
I love your stories!
The mystery at the start, and how all the threads of the story come togethor at the end, are written in a really masterful way.

You've really captured the confusing nature of diseases that cause memory loss, and how they can fuel grief and even resentment.

I particularly liked the bit where Draco reflects on how "you're back to wondering how you should feel" because grief is a slippery emotion and he hasn't fully accepted it yet.

2nd April 2009:
What an adorable little one-shot! I really enjoyed this. I was trying to figure out who it was the entire time, but I couldn't unravel it by the time you revealed who it was. I think that's an adorable adaptation and way for Draco to meet Astoria. I like how you described her as well!

Good job.

I genuinely think I may cry. That was just so sad and so beautiful. I loved everything about it, and I could seriously rave on and on about the pure brilliance of this fic, but I'll just leave it with this: 10/10
