:D Hi, sorry i've taken so long!

I really like this one-shot. The story is different and I think your characters, especially the artist, are great and I think you've written it really well. Your description is also something to be proud of.

The only thing I can think that glared out at me was that the Harry's both sounded quite American. E.g., in the last line, he could have said 'eh?' instead of 'huh?' to sound less American. I don't know if you realised this, and it really isn't a problem, it's just dialogue is important when I review.

Anyway, this is a brilliant one-shot and feel free to request again! 10/10.

Author's Response: Thank you! The more I think about this, the more I hate it. It was my first attempt at a lighter story, and I don't think I did very well, but thanks for crashing through it. I understand what you mean about sounding American, but even the little things, I don't really know how to sound un-American. Thanks so much!

Wow. This was adorable and deep and just beautiful. This is one of the best one-shots on this site. Don't ask me why, I can't explain it. I can explain that I was amazed that you wrote something light-hearted. The depth of this piece is indescribable. I can't tell you everything that's running through my head right now, it would take up an entire book.

Your style is just...phenomenal. I believe I repeat myself in every review that I leave you, but I can't help it. You're such a brilliant author and I applaud you, Ilia :]

haha oh Ilia, you never cease to amaze me! I know what you mean about ticking the humour box, it's not something I've done. But this was just as good as some of your darker stuff.

The funny thing about it is it makes perfect sense! The portrait is remarkably clever, I must admit. You've got a real gem here, well done :)

This wasn't the kind of humor I expected when you said it was. At first I didn't like it. But once I stopped and thought about it for awhile, I loved it. It's very you. You did a fantastic job! Don't chage a thing! 10/10!

I got a laugh outta this. Well written. We can at least say the portrait is nothing like the 'real' deal. Enjoyed and I must say I 'found' my smile at the end. A delightful and 'must' read for anyone looking for their lost 'smile.' Thanks for sharing this with us.
