Definately a cute story so far! Good capture of Slytherin, I think, a lot of time it is misportrayed especially in first year...they are of course eleven year olds and thus do things that kids like to do: like climbing trees! Well, I am thoroughly enjoying this story and will be very happy when you update!

Awww, she just wants a friend but isn't quite sure what qualifies as one. Very true there for an eleven year old who spent most of her childhood closeted away with her family. I like the story about the werewolf child...will it be Lupin? Kinda seems like a possibility, doesn't it? Well, another good chapter...I think I might have to add this story to my favorites!

Kinda odd place to end it, I think, but I enjoyed the chapter none the less! I like the inkless Snape idea: being dirt poor he'd have none but it was very Slytherin of him to be too proud to borrow and Lewis (can't spell her first name for the life of me! how did you think of it?!? ) to act as if she weren't being kind only selfish :D

Good job...I like this one better than the last: she sounds more like an eleven year old girl (especially at the end). Just a couple of things...she mentions noticing it rained by looking out a window; but you say Slytherin common room's beneath the lake...seems like the windows wouldn't be showing gray skies =D You can say it must be an enchantment or something, just caught my eye =D 10/10 and looking good! Also good to see some people recognize the appparently famous name "lewis"

Quite good still...a couple of typos, you might want to proof-read a bit, but I like the bit about Narcissa's giggle compared to Lily's: it puts into perspective the differences in people.

Short (what a prologue should be..) but good insight into a pureblood family's view of itself...even if Lewis isn't quite as noble sounding as Black or Lestrange =D Good start!

I have really enjoyed it so far. Its really interesting reading something thats not from a Gryffindors point of view. i really like it how she is warming up the more she is at hogwarts. So far i think your doing a great job! cant wait to read more.

Interesting beginning, if a little short (but it is a prologue). I like the first person. I don't see too many stories written in the first person.

The only problem I see is that this first chapter, in order to set up the character, circumstances, background, etc. reads a bit like a manifesto of sorts, or at least a biography. It doesn't sound remotely like what a person would actually think. When reading first person, I tend to expect a little less detailed explaining than you've done here. This prologue does a good job of setting a tone for the story though.
