This was brilliant! A very unique plot and I love the pairing :) Report Review
A beautiful and touching story that really made me feel their emotions. A wonderful, deep piece of work, though it would habe been nice to have a little bit more background.Author's Response: Thanks! I did purposefully leave the background vague, though, because it would've been delving into all that annoying stuff about THE WAR and Deathly Hallows, and I like the sense of mystery that comes with staying in the present. Sorry if it was a bit confusing, though. Report Review
Oof. Absolutely fantastic. I can't remember the last time that I read a one-shot that well done. You thought it out so incredibly. Plus, I've always loved the relationship of Seamus/Lavender. I really love that there wasn't too much exposition at the end. You left it nice and open ended, and it left the reader with a hopeful feeling for the pair. Great job! I loved it! :)Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm very glad you enjoyed it. :) Report Review
Thoughtfully done and very well written. For some reason it gives me the feeling of first person narrative even though I know that it completely is not. I'm not sure how to explain it really, but in any case I LIKE it. =) I love the Gryffindorness of Seamus, and I also love that we never find out who the intruder is--is it someone we know, or not? Probably not, but the mystery of it is a bit thrilling. Love the open ended relationship possibility between Lavender and Seamus. Once again, very thoughtfully written. Good work! I thoroughly Enjoyed reading it! Merry Christmas =)Author's Response: Thank you very much! And I'm glad that that's the sort of feeling you got off of it - lets me know I let you into their heads, as it were. I was going to name the intruder, make it someone established in canon as a "bad guy," but the anonymity seemed to go best (and make it more mysterious, as you said!) with the theme of everybody letting things slide and using the excuse of THE WAR. Anyway, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas to you, too. ♥ Report Review
