Rita/Lockhart is a totally random pairing, but one that I now really like.

That was completely out of left field, in a good way. I've never read a fan fiction about Rita, but I really liked this one. It did seem a bit angsty, but nobody has ever died (directly) from that! The way you portrayed Rita and Gilderoy coincided with the book and brought them down to a human level, which takes talent. I like how cynical she seems at first, but towards the end, she just feels remorseful. I really liked this, good job!

Author's Response: Hehe, if people died directly from angst, that would be bad. I'm glad you thought my portrayals of Rita and Gilderoy were canon. I was trying really hard to make them seem realistic, and yet like the characters we love to hate. I'm glad you liked this story! Sometimes playing out in left field is the most fun. :P
