Review #2, by MaskWithATruth Things Worth Caring For

18th October 2009:
Wow. Just - wow. I have read your other story - which I admit I cried till the very end - and I have just read this, and all I can say right now...is that this is absolutely amazing. I felt like I had gone on an adventure. Truthfully, I think you should rewrite the Twilight Saga for Meyer - you have a perfect balance between tragedy and romance. Bella Swan was the drabbiest heroine ever, and although that was what I first thought of Irene, she went through this whole metamorphagis that was just absolutely incredible. It wasn't one of those chick-flick-y 'oh, let's make the ugly duckling an amazing beauty' type of change, and this is totally what I would call quality writing. You have so much talent here. Tom was also portrayed so vividly. What I love about this piece of writing is how you've separated the Voldemort from the Tom. Have you considered continuing the story to involve Violet and Tom? That'll probably ruin the whole tragedy genre, but I totally love your style.
Wow. I gush alot. I wish I could review your stories fifty thousand times and nominate them for every single genre about a gazillion times, because you completely deserve to be reknown.
I don't know. You might not even ever read this strange (and long) review, but just to let you know, I really appreciate your writing.
So...Well done! I hope you keep up the writing!!

Author's Response: DEAR MASKWITHATRUTH:

I HAVE READ THIS THREE YEARS AFTER YOU WROTE IT. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO READ THIS? IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF WHAT PEOPLE WOULD SAY ABOUT MY WRITING. I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID, BUT IT'S TRUE. I WAS REALLY HONESTLY KIND OF AFRAID OF MY WRITING AND TELLING ANYBODY ABOUT IT. I TOOK A BREAK FOR THREE YEARS AND CAME BACK HERE.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THIS IS HONESTLY ONE OF THE MOST UPLIFTING THINGS I'VE READ. YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO, SO HAPPY, EVEN IF I MADE YOU CRY (SORRY!!). I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU, YOU, YOU THE PROPER RECOGNITION YOU DESERVE. WRITERS NEED READERS AND YOU MADE ME FEEL SO APPRECIATED. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU'LL EVER READ MY REVIEW OF YOU, BUT GOD BLESS, SERIOUSLY. I APPRECIATE IT MORE THAN I CAN EXPRESS ON THIS REVIEW AND - CAN I BE HONEST? - I AM BLUSHING AND ALMOST ON THE VERGE OF TEARS. THANK YOU FOR IT. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

Review #3, by 1m4n Things Worth Caring For

19th January 2009:
This was. . . amazing. Haunting and tragic. Extremely well-written.
I loved Voldemort's reflections and how you made him and Tom two different people, because in my opinion they ARE two different people. You made Tom's love for Irene believable--the grief he felt at her death, how he actually *cared* for someone... it made sense. It was absolutely devastating when he spurned her in his thoughts, "buried" her, but again--that made sense as well and was probably the most tragic part of this one-shot.
Amazing piece of work.
keep it up,
-I

Author's Response: *beams* THIS REVIEW MAKES MY LIFE. THANK YOU :D
