The explanation Hermione gave Ron about her and Harry's relationship was lame. Harry loves Ginny but before either he or Hermione know it they're in a sexual relationship? And then before you know it they have a kid together? And it didn't seem to freak them out or change their relationship at all. It's like they're both perfectly fine with having an unplanned kid; it's just one of those things that happens all the time, right? Not only that, but Ginny acts like it doesn't even bother her that the man she loves had a kid with another woman right under her nose, and that he still spends a lot of time with his ex-lover. When has this ever happened in reality?
Also, I get that Ron did a terrible thing by leaving, but everybody blames him and dumps on him every chapter, and completely ignore how destroyed he must feel knowing that his biggest fear--Harry and Hermione hooking up--happened. Not only that, they had a kid, a living reminder to him everyday that they had a sexual relationship. But Ron's a bastard, right? So his feelings don't count.
Author's Response: Okay, first of all, as explained, this is just changing slightly a cliche. Maybe I don't do it very well, But I'm making fun of it. I do not care about that stuff because it simply doesn't matter.

this is good. really interesting twist in the story! but i wonder if maybe you could put in something more about why harry and hermione had a baby? like did they have a relationship while ron was gone? ginny was ok with that? or was there some deeper reason as to why harry and hermione got pregnant?
just something i was wondering about. great story though i really like this angle. please update when you have time!
Author's Response: It is actually explained in the story that Harry and Hermione were in a relationship, they got together about three months after Ron left, and they were together until Lily was about three months old or something like that.
