Poor guy, his best times were with James, and his other friends. It is really sad that it had to end so badly for him, he had such a hard life.

He must have been awefully depressed. That would be hard on anyone but he especialy was not the type to be content sitting around, I guess in the end he died as he wanted to.

I like how you ended it with a joke. it made it really good. great job!

Author's Response: Yes - and these, for me, are the most interesting stories to write. Cabin fever for the poor bloke, honestly, and everyone was giving him such a hard time!

I adore that song! And you threaded it so very well into Sirius' horrible loneliness, it was an excellent fit!

"Remus let his eyes wander down the hall to the moldy curtain hanging in front of Madam Walburga Black's portrait. She did seem like a dementor sometimes." Good analogy there!

It would have had to be utterly dismal for Sirius in that place. At least, that's sort of how I always imagined it to be, and you captured it and made it you own. Fabulous songfic!

I adore that song, as well... and it popped into my head as I was thinking of Sirius one day. I find that I enjoy writing Sirius @ Grimmauld Place fics (despite the fact that they make me depressed!).
