It's painfully overdue, but better late than never!

So, first a really huge kudos. I'm actually not so found of next-gen characters at all, but I REALLY enjoyed this story. I want to thank your writing for this.

It also didn't feel like a typical Rose/Scorpius story, so I have to say I really enjoyed it for this fact the most. I really appreciated the fact that you took time on learning to accept love and loss instead of having some scandalous happy ending :)

Your description was lovely in some parts, it made the story really enjoyable. It was a huge compliment to your flow. I've been reviewing countless stories today that aren't really flowing that great and this story was finally a relief in that department. The flow was lovely and made reading SOOO much easier and pleasant. That's partially a thanks from me and partially a compliment :-)

I honestly don't have much CC to mention, mostly compliments coming from me today. I believe in Honeydukes Albus referred to James as Jams which was confusing for a moment. So maybe a quick intense read through to make sure there aren't any tiny mistakes like that.

Definitely an excellent read for a Sunday, though. Thanks!!

Hi, I'm so sorry it took forever to get thru the list. I had a 20 chapter thing and an 8 chapter thing and blah blah blah excuses.

I really like this, it's not too traditional. I love any fic where the female lead becomes empowered or whatever. The fact that Rose can finally get over Scorpius is great.

I find it a bit unbelievable that Rose wouldn't be able to move on for nine years, considering that she has a very fast turnaround into a very strong, self empowered woman. I feel like she would try more to move on, and keep thinking that she succeeded, only to not.

The sugar quills are a great symbol, I love that you included that in the ending.

In the beginning, I find it crazy that Rose waits for Scorpius for 45 minutes, and he never apologizes for that. Not really, anyway. Personally, if I was her, I would be ready to leave after 10. But then, I'm very impatient. If this is her character flaw, loving Scorpius too much, try playing that up!

Well, I have to go to the orthodontist now, but I would be wrapping up even if I didn't have to go.

I really like the whole base of this, you've done so well.

I love this story. i like how you can see some of Draco's ignorance in Scorpius' character. It is so interesting to see the pain that never left Rose, and how she just needed closure. Very nice!

Hey I am here to dish out some reviews...finally! I loved this story, it is sad, happy, romantic and a ton of other emotions! You also have a way with words! The reader can feel what Rose is feeling, which is amazing!
