Perfect capture, I think, of young Tom! Just enough description to fill the scene, while not being overly distracting. The dialogue with the snake was very well thought out, too. You gave it such a fitting personality - one that mirrors young Tom's nicely. Have you considered expanding on this?

i have considered doing another one-shot on tom. he's so interesting to write from the perspective of because he's the iconic villain of the series, and you wonder how a human being could get to go as bad as he did.

This is really good. i don't think I've read anything else that tried to get in Tom Riddle's head (most people are just content to write him off as a villain and leave it there) but you've done a very convincing job.

Author's Response: thank you :) yeah i just thought it'd be interesting to get inside the head of a child that would grow into someone so wholly evil.
