one thing though that confussed me is wouldn't Minnie have noticed Harry sense she was the one who called his name and put the hat on him and she's a teacher who graded his papers

Author's Response: That is confusing, yes. Let's see if I can explain it. She knew his name, but she didn't notice that she knew it. She knew, from his Sorting, that he was in Slytherin, and therefore falls under the rivalry. He is the enemy, even though he is a child. No one notices his name because the first thing they notice is his House affiliation. It's a very convoluted situation.

Your doing great. I love how you made 6 years of Harry Potter's life into a huge one-shot. But it's ok with the “Harry’s-a-Slytherin” thing because everyone does it differently every time.
