Well, I think it's a good idea. A girl who feels invisible and loves the most visible guy in the world. It's been done, but, that's not too big a deal.
The big deals-to me, at least-are 1)the excessive use of sighs. There are other noises a person can make. Especially Sirius. Maybe a groan, grunt, or moan of frustration?
2)The improper use of "their". I think you meant "they're" for most of them. They're = they are and their = possessive.
3)the repetition of how horribly she does in Transfiguration. I think that a mention of the consequences of this do not need the backing up of her thoughts on the matter. I mean, if she says in the first place that she's awful, do we really need to hear it a dozen more times?
Those are the biggest issues I had with the chapter as a whole. I like it, and I am probably going to keep reading. I think you have a lot of potential.
