16th December 2010:

Just... whoa.

I'm speechless. Um... whoa. Yeah, I think I'll stick to 'whoa' as being my reaction. Honestly, I have no idea how to explain what that felt like. Intense, and raw, and so, so true and emotional.

I liked how you described Remus' transformation- you didn't sugar coat it, it was raw and full of pain. It was like how I would imagine it would feel. And the descriptions of the Shrieking Shack were wonderful, as well.

The part that got me, really, was Remus' mum dying because of him. That broke my heart. It never occured to me that is an actual possibility. It could happen, and it did. And Remus' "Just kill me, dad."

My favourite part. ♥ Just so chilling and hauntingly beautiful and so very in-character for Remus. And he was so young, too!

What I noticed and found interesting was how you made Remus' parents Muggles. I'm fairly sure his father, at least, was a wizard- it was one his comments or something of that sort that set Greyback on Remus, wasn't it? But I found that really interesting, actually. It's hard enough for Wizarding parents to accept the fact that their child is a werewolf, but with Muggle parents... It'd be something else, wouldn't it?

Loved this one-shot, I really liked how Remus killed his own mother. The melodrama was fun to read. Your description is really good, if sometimes slightly convoluted.

Wish there was more!

Author's Response: Thanks very much, I like this oneshot too- it was fun to write, and I'm glad everyone likes it so far!

OH, my god. Poor Remus! That's wonder he's so serious / ashamed to be a werewolf! That's horrible... (I already said that, but it's still true)

(ps. I updated. Finally :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for such a nice review! Yeah, I do love torturing him- it's just so much fun. Also, I had hinted at something in another story and it kinda got me wondering to myself what had happened to his mother...

Thank you!

Whoa. That was intense. I love your description of the Shrieking Shack and of Remus's feelings after what happened. I think you wrote the whole thing wonderfully. I never would have thought about Remus killing his own mother during a transformation, but I thought you portrayed his feelings about it beautifully.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, I am really glad you liked it! The ting with Remus killing his mum appeared when I was writing a different story, and there was a reference to her death and it got me thinking... hence, this story was born!

The beginning bit was me being bored in bed at 3am experimenting with my phone's notey thing and I was really pleased when I realised I could use it in this piece!

Thank you once again, I really appreciate it!

Wow... just wow. That was a very intense one-shot. When Remus says that if he had had a bit more knowledge about werewolves his mother might have lived longer, I thought it would have been the werewolf who killed her, I never thought it would have been Remus. But that was just amazing. The intensity of Remus's feelings when he discovered his mother's body and how his father was holding the shotgun at him. Just... wow. Oddly, my favorite part was Remus asking his father to kill him. I completely believe Remus would have said that if he actually did that. A brilliant one-shot!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing, I love this one-shot myself, it was so fun to write. I am so glad you liked the bits you mentioned, especially Remus and his dad, because I could see it so vividly.

Thannks again, I love yor reviews so so much, they mean a lot!
